Thanksgiving Day!

Hi everyone!
Do you know what? Today is Thanksgiving! Have you ever heard about it? Too much turkey, stuffing, cranberries sauce and pumpkin pie... Mmmmmmmm... Delicious! Happy Thanksgiving!

Love to eat turkey
Love to eat turkey

"Ohhh, I love you!"
Love to eat turkey
'Cause it's good
Love to eat turkey
Like a good boy should
'Cause it's turkey to eat
So good

"That clappin's messing my head up man. I appreciate it.
But I was trying to think of the next line and all I hear is clapping.
Here we go... Thanks anyways"

Turkey for me
Turkey for you
Let's eat the turkey
In my big brown shoe
Love to eat the turkey
At the table
I once saw a movie
With Betty Grable
Eat that turkey
All night long
Fifty million Elvis fans
Can't be wrong
Turkey lurkey doo and
Turkey lurkey dap
I eat that turkey
Then I take a nap

Thanksgiving is a special night
Jimmy Walker used to say Dynomite
That's right
Turkey with gravy and cranberry
Can't believe the Mets traded Darryl Strawberry
Turkey for you and
Turkey for me
Can't believe Tyson
Gave that girl V.D.

White meat, dark meat
You just can't lose
I fell off my moped
And I got a bruise
Turkey in the oven
And the buns in the toaster
I'll never take down
My Cheryl Tiegs poster
Wrap the turkey up
In aluminum foil
My brother likes to masturbate
With baby oil
Turkey and sweet potato pie
Sammy Davis Jr.
Only had one eye

Turkey for the girls and
Turkey for the boys
My favorite kind of pants
Are corduroys
Gobble gobble goo and
Gobble gobble gickel
I wish turkey
Only cost a nickel
Oh I love turkey on Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

Don't fear, my little darling
My little darling
Don't fear, my little darling

Welcome back to school! You have a whole academic year to learn new things and spend time with your classmates. Make profit!
Have you ever heard of children's sincerity? Read the following lines taken from their mouths:
TEACHER: Glenn, how do you spell 'crocodile'?
GLENN: K-R-O-K-O-D-I-A-L
TEACHER: No, that's wrong
GLENN: Maybe it is wrong, but you asked me how I spell it

The Diary of a Disappointed Book

This short film tells a disappointing year in the life of a book. Though they might often be our most treasured possessions, it is remarkable how easily books can be neglected, mistreated and sometimes even lost.

A job before getting married

Here is the story: There is an 11 year old singer/songwriter who had been asked to go on National Television to sing one of her original songs about a year and a half ago. Her little 5 year old sister (she's six now) was upset and feeling left out because her big sister was doing all these fun and interesting things. This 1 minute clip is part of a 15 minute video where she discusses her views on life and decides she isn't going to let anything come between her and her goals. Pay attention and let me know if you can learn something!

Make a difference

If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there'd be peace. It doesn't matter how long my hair is or what colour my skin is or whether I'm a woman or a man. Lean on the others and peace will prevail on earth.

    Spring Term Competition

Do you remember the last autumn competition? Now you have another chance.

Burlington Books are offering fantastic prizes for the best compositions, but this time there's
an added bonus: if a student from our school wins first prize, we’ll be awarded with
a free Burlington Culture Class for our school! If you want to know more about this, ask me or visit Burlington Books website.

    Theme: My Perfect School

The competition is open to all ESO and Bachillerato classes. There’s no word limit.
    Closing Date: 8 April, 2011

    Sample entry:

    My Perfect School

My perfect school is so much fun! There aren't many classes, only P.E., History and Maths, which are my favourites. School starts at about 10 o’clock in the morning. When I get there, I have biscuits and Cola Cao, which are given free in the canteen. Then I play football with my friends until about 11 o'clock.

I only go to class if I want to. If it is boring, I am not obliged to listen. Sometimes they have video consoles like PS3 in the classroom, so when I’m bored I can play my favourite games.

In my perfect school I eat pizza every day for lunch, except Fridays, when we have paella. After lunch, we have a siesta!

In my perfect school we don't have any teachers. Robots give us classes. And of course, there isn't any homework!

So, that’s my perfect school. Maybe it’s your perfect school, too!

    HAPPY NEW YEAR 2011!!!

We're back! Did you miss your classmates? Do you know what? I'm always curious about other people's New Year's Resolutions. Here are some of those, in no particular order, that I came across and found, well, interesting :
    1. I will not look at boys - 13 year old girl
    2. I will do less laundry and use more deodorant - Lazy and Smart Fellow
    3. With that cloned cow having given birth and everything, I resolve to pay more attention to where my food comes from this next year - Organic Eater
    4. I will not puff my entire body to twice its size and screech in her ear after my human has finished watching a horror movie. - Pet Cat
    5. I will remember that life is not about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce. - Experienced Bouncer
Now, the video you're about to watch is a Christmas present for you that the Three Wise Men left at home. Hope you'll like it.
